How very human of Jesus

To often people seem to forget that Jesus was human, they seem to only be concerned with his heavenly side. How sad…

Jesus was human and divine, that means he was as real as you and I, he ate, and drank, and even went to the bathroom… And yes he was also Divine, he was one with God, like we will never be. But he was still human.

In the bible we see the all over the place. The bible makes the case for his humanity and divinity, depending on who wrote it, one will over shadow the other, but it’s still there.

I get very frustrated with people who want to over look his humanity, ask anyone who knows me, they will tell you I can get very frustrated with them…

To me it cheapen who Jesus was, if he was just divine, his death and Resurrection wouldn’t be that big of a deal. But because he was human, it is a big deal…

Stop and think about it…

If Jesus was just divine, we would expect him to walk on water, or to cure the sick. But because he was a real as you and me, we don’t expect him to do that.

One of the most telling passages in the bible about his humanity was also one of the most telling of his divinity, Lazarus being raised from the dead, deals with his divinity but the simple line, 2 words tells us of his humanity Jesus wept

What more can I say…

Jesus wept

Jesus wept for his friend, his loss, and for all of humanity, because he knew that soon he was to die for us all, and like his friend, he would rise from the dead. How beautiful, and how so very human of Jesus…

About Paul Sposite

Paul Sposite - Life Coach I began my career as an instructor. As an instructor there are two basic requirements. You have to know yourself, so you know where you’re drawing your inspiration from. And you have to actively listen to the others, and then respond to the subtext of what they are saying. In learning about myself I started to focus a lot on my students, how they learned, what questions they were asking and how I could best modify my methods to best serve them. I believe that if you use your real life problems/issues as insights to the issues you need to heal, you’ll grow. From my experience in the classroom, creating curriculum and material to support my training, I developed an interest in how people process information. This interest turned into my interest in Life Coaching.

    dear paul,
    did you know that,

bethlehem is literally translated : the house of bread.
the house of bread, also known as the sign Virgo, was a star constellation in the sky and has never been a real place on earth.
the three kings visiting the new born STAR, not child. are the 3 stars in the belt of Orion. who line up during christmas with the east where the sun rises, ergo, birth of a SUN, not SON (lol!)
and can be visible in winter time.
the famous crucifixion of the Son of god, is actually when the distance between the sun and earth is at it’s greatest, the sun will then appear to be in the middle of 4 stars that seem to make a crux symbol, ergo “crucifixion”. now the sun will stay at that low-point on the crux for about 3 days, after that, the earth starts moving closer again making the sun move out of the crux. ergo “resurrection?” these are all facts taken from astrology and mathematical equations by specialists, and scientists (do you’re homework kids) resurrection is not celebrated until Easter (east-er), why? because the resurrection actually symbolises the start of a new fertile season, plants becoming green again, fruit’s starting to grow, new life sprouting, warmth and light for a new year.

the winter was a harsh time for people in those day’s and was directly linked to death, because winters took away crops and essential life sources as warmth and light. they understood that without the sun, there would be no life.

and god? well god a word for the universe of course.

the bible is nothing more then a book you should live by as a story, and not live for as the truth.

Thanks for the information.. Faith is something that is deeper, something that you can not see, feel or explaine. I will keep my faith, thank you very much. God is, and always will be, even if you do not think so…
