God’s ATM

Today, many of us will be setting our clocks ahead one hour, for Daylight Savings time. But really do we save any time? Not really we just change the clock, but no time is really saved. We still only have 24 hours in a day, and we don’t have the extra hour to add to make it 25 hours in day. So what really is being saved?

The same can be said of sales at stores, they advertise savings, but really are you? Do you have any extra money when you walk out of the store? You may have spent less, but you didn’t save, you have nothing extra.

The only place I know of that offers you a true saving is the Church. Now we don’t offer 2 for one sales (but it would be nice) but the Church does offer you eternal savings.

By believing and doing good deeds you are adding to your heavenly bank account. With each deposit, you are adding to your saving…

Wouldn’t it be nice if God had an ATM machine here on earth… We could check our balance, maybe take a withdraw when he are a little short of Grace, or good works. See what interest we have earned. We would be able to transfer funds between accounts. And maybe even get a loan.

It’s a concept that can seem very appealing. But if you think about it, God has given us something better, we don’t have to drive to the ATM to make a withdraw, we don’t even have to check our balance. God has give each and everyone of us a personal banker, the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, will give us what ever with draw we need, and as for our balance, well, our account is much like American Express, no limit. And the payment… well the bill is settled at death.

So make your withdraws with care, and use it wisely.

About Paul Sposite

Paul Sposite - Life Coach I began my career as an instructor. As an instructor there are two basic requirements. You have to know yourself, so you know where you’re drawing your inspiration from. And you have to actively listen to the others, and then respond to the subtext of what they are saying. In learning about myself I started to focus a lot on my students, how they learned, what questions they were asking and how I could best modify my methods to best serve them. I believe that if you use your real life problems/issues as insights to the issues you need to heal, you’ll grow. From my experience in the classroom, creating curriculum and material to support my training, I developed an interest in how people process information. This interest turned into my interest in Life Coaching.

    dear paul,

i think you’re little ‘view point’ is invalid.
mostly because this page popped up when i was looking for clocks, and daylight saving time, for an experiment of (get ready) science.
and in the middle of the post, you start promoting christian churches, witch just made me sigh at your ignorance.
further more, you then start pitching an idea that i thought would only be inside a kindergarteners head, then you top this whole brain-numbing feast off with saying god gave us this, god gave us that.
just… the whole post is just pathetic…. if you are all praying for an afterlife, and christianity has been around for about a century now… then why has none of the followers of “god” or as i like to call him “dog” ever, eeeever, returned in a shape or form of a miracle? why has nobody got any confirmation? any solid proof, evidence even?

    merry ignorant christmass
