STATIC Solutions the 21st century Baltimore Catechism

What the Baltimore Catechism was for the 19th Century STATIC is for the 21st Century – it recognizes the basic needs and capacities of the local community and provides a process that quite simply works. I give the STATIC program and STATIC Solutions, LLC my highest recommendation.
    Westland, Michigan (STATICWEB) 12, August, 2009 --
STATIC Solutions, LLC a leader in middle school faith formation received a letter of recommendation of highest praise for quality solid Catholic formation material. The following letter will be sent in to the Archdiocese of Detroit as part of our effort to receive an imprimatur for our innovative programming.

    To Whom This May Concern
STATIC Programming is an excellent program and I believe that every parish should be utilizing each and every dimension. St. Theodore of Canterbury parish has been using the STATIC programming exclusively for our Middle School students since the fall of 2004. What began as a process to challenge our students to take on a more adult attitude regarding their own faith lives provided not only an exceptional experience with a sound theological foundation; rich biblical principles and fruitful interpersonal dynamics; it also challenged their parents and general parish as well.
After over 30 years of experience working with adolescents and pre-adolescents I went looking for a Religious Education process or program that would not only keep these older students from becoming bored but that would encourage their unique process in faith formation and learning. STATIC Small Group provides the process that not only teaches the students more about understanding and living their faith but in a way that allows them to interact with the information and with one another. The STATIC Large Group activities, which is more of a youth group based activities, gives the students a place to be in faith while having fun and in the whole process learning more about their faith and how to live it. And the program doesn’t just stop there. The journals for each grade level and the exceptional three years Service Process the possibilities are endless.
STATIC Solutions LLC continues to come out each year with new and innovative ideas such as newsletters, retreats and more I know that we will be able to provide a vital, nurturing program for decades to come. What the Baltimore Catechism was for the 19th Century STATIC is for the 21st Century – it recognizes the basic needs and capacities of the local community and provides a process that quite simply works. I give the STATIC program and STATIC Solutions, LLC my highest recommendation. I remain,
    Your Servant in Christ,

Easter and the Automotive Companies

Rejoice and be glad! That is the Easter tiding we are to live by not only during the 50 days of Easter but all our lives. Good advice, but not always easy to do. In fact it is one of the hardest things to do.

Funny thing forgiveness…

Jesus has spoken many words that we all would love to hear from him, but I would venture to guess that the words “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” would have to be on top of our list. In that one simple statement Jesus summed up humanity and His relationship with [...]

Easter is almost here, just a few short days… The week leading up to Easter, Holy Week, is a crazy week. I have a friend who works for the Church, well actually I have a few who do but I am referring to just one good friend of mine for this blog. She is the [...]

From the Ash

Today Catholics all around the world are being reminded that our earthly bodies came from the dust of the earth and will return to the dust. Today is Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent. We, as Catholics will get the ash sign of the cross upon our foreheads, abstain from meat and fast. It is [...]

Resurrection of yourself

Over the past two weeks I have been listening to talks on CD’s on my ride in to work. I try to listen to Catholic radio on my ride, but the signal is so week in the morning that all I get is static mixed in with talk, so it’s kind of hard. So I [...]

Time…. for Time

Time is a funny thing, it never seems like we have enough unless we want time to go by fast, then we have way too much…

Like at Christmas time, it always seems to take for ever for Christmas Eve to end and Christmas day to start, and then once Christmas day is here, it all [...]

Easter, a way of life…

The Cross…
The Crucified Christ…
The Risen Lord…
Easter has so many images and emotions tied to it. It’s a roller-coaster of events, with it’s ups and downs, loops and twists. We cry, and sing for joy, all with in a few day’s. At the end, when it’s all over, we are done! We have nothing left to [...]

I took a little break, due to illness, but am back, not 100% but back…
Easter is here, all 50 days of it. Now what are you going to do with it? Or is Easter just a one-day event, you went to Church, ate dinner and cleaned up, it’s over and now you are waiting for Mothers Day?

Fun with Dick and Jane….

Fun with Dick and Jane…. Or something like that.
when was the last time you went to church and left saying that was fun? How many times have you gone in to church dreading it? Or went only because you had to?
Being Catholic, we are not know for our exciting mass, we don’t get up and [...]
